BELMONT — James “Jim” Mark Bolduc, 68, of Gale Street, passed away on May 17, 2026, at home.

Jim was born on Nov. 5, 1957, in Laconia, the son of the late Gerard Thomas Bolduc and Jeannette Lorraine (Jordan) Bolduc.

Jim worked as a machinist for NH Ball Bearing, at Merchants Auto and Baron Machine. He enjoyed puttering around on house projects, and woodworking. Jim was extremely talented with his crafting skills. He had renovated his entire home by himself without formal training; he was also a perfectionist in his work. He loved playing hockey in his youth, and continued his love of hockey by watching his favorite teams. Jim was a daredevil in his youth and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Jim was a family man and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren loved spending time with Papa sharing ice cream sundaes.

Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Bolduc; sons Jonathan Belfontaine and his partner Becky Vorel, and Justin Belfontaine and his wife Brianna; stepdaughter Barbie Pratt; brother Gary Bolduc and his wife Darlene; sister Susan Bolduc and her partner Kenney Brownlee; grandchildren Noah Belfontaine, Julian Belfontaine, Gabriel Belfontaine, Oliva Belfontaine, Madeleine Kimball and Delilah Smock; great-granddaughter Genevieve Kimball; brothers-in-law Joseph Teichert and John Teichert; sisters-in-law Diana Mattes and her husband Arwid; nieces Nickole Boissoneault, Heather Chissholm, Abigail Teichert and Bethany Teichert; nephews Gerred Bolduc, Brian Chissholm and Alexander Mattes; several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, at Leavitt Park, 334 Elm St., Laconia. Most people know Jim loved his desserts and treats. Please bring a treat and a story to share.

Jim will be sorely missed by all.
