CLERMONT, Fla. — Estelle C. Daragon, 91, died of natural causes on July 13, 2025. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Estelle was a daughter of Yvonne and Mae Bilodeau. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, she attended St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School and, having skipped second grade, graduated from Manchester Central High at age 17.

She then met and married her husband Paul and, God bless them, they celebrated 68 years together. Following their marriage her husband enlisted in the Army and was stationed overseas, where she soon joined him at the age of 18, having traveled aboard the Queen Elizabeth. After two years they returned home expecting their first child. One of her favorite stories is of her son having been “Made in France.” He was born in the U.S. however, and so their family began.

With a home, a husband, two sons and a daughter, she was a full-time employee of Northeast Handling Systems. As secretary, treasurer, and member of the board, Estelle pioneered herself as a super mom. Wife, mother, chauffeur, financier, employee, business owner and one of her favorite sayings, “maid, cook and bottle washer.” She was also a "self made" professional seamstress.

She was a friend to her husband, siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews and neighbors. As firm Catholics, she and her husband raised their family accordingly. With their combined incomes and her financial savvy, they wanted for nothing. Having food and clothing, they owned a home, cars, a boat, water skis, snow skis, a camper, an in-ground swimming pool, bicycles, tents and toys. They adventured and experienced life together as a whole. Her sons were enrolled in Boy Scouts and her daughter in dance. Estelle, by maintaining her duties and routines, unconditionally spread herself throughout her work, family and friends. She was a saint, God bless her, and will be missed by all.

She was loved by many, but most dearly by her husband Paul. Forever by his side may she rest in peace.

Estelle is survived by her three children, John, James and Judy; five grandchildren, Johnny, Tommy, Jennifer, Samantha and Andria; and great-grandson Nash.

A memorial service will take place for Estelle at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, located on 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
