It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David A. Court, age 78, a beloved husband, father, and dedicated craftsman, who left this world on March 9, 2026.

Born on Sept. 17, 1947, in Beverly, Massachusetts, David's journey began in a small town, where his passion for blacksmithing ignited at the tender age of 20 while working at his parents' home in Maine. From that moment on, forging metal became not just his occupation, but his life's calling.

David was a self-employed blacksmith, a true artisan whose dedication to his craft resonated through each piece he created. His work was a labor of love, reflecting his deep appreciation for the traditions of forging — a testament to his unwavering commitment and skill. Throughout the years, his master's touch turned raw materials into stunning creations that embodied strength and beauty, just like the man himself.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 54 years, Nancy Court, and his cherished daughter, Jessica Court.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Barbara (Dunn) Court.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 13, at Temple Beth Jacob, 67 Broadway in Concord. Burial will follow the service at 11:30 a.m. in Beth Jacob Cemetery.
