WOLFEBORO — Makers Mill will hold two five-part Visual Arts for Youth classes this fall, designed especially for local homeschoolers and led by mixed media artist and certified educator Martina Cyr.
These creative and skill-building series give young artists the opportunity to explore drawing, collage, color theory, and printmaking while developing their own artistic ideas. Students will learn how to express form, color, and space in both two- and three-dimensional art, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of mediums.
Two age groups are offered:
Ages 14-18: Tuesdays, Nov. 4 – Dec. 2, from 12:30-2 p.m.
Ages 8-13: Tuesdays, Nov. 4 – Dec. 2, from 2:30-4 p.m.
Designed with homeschooling in mind, the classes nurture creativity, problem-solving, and confidence in visual expression. The registration deadline is Saturday, Oct. 25, and space is limited to 10 students per class.
Cyr, a Brookfield-based artist and life coach, brings years of experience helping youth and adults alike stay curious, explore their creativity, and develop supportive habits for lifelong learning.
