“This week, representatives from the Department of Historic Resources and Land and Community Heritage Program visited the Colonial Theatre. Don’t worry, everyone made it past the dragon. Want to see the dragon too? Come out and see ‘Shrek the Musical,’” wrote Joia Hughes, director of economic and housing development in Laconia, in an email on Wednesday. The departments of NH Division of Historical Resources and Land and Community Heritage Investment Program were in tow since previously granted funds that were used to renovate the theater.
