PLYMOUTH — Plymouth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, a department of Speare Memorial Hospital, recently added Kelsey Denby, PA-C, to its growing team of providers.

Denby joins the practice as a certified physician assistant, where she will work collaboratively with the POSM team to deliver comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

In her new role, Denby will assist in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of orthopedic concerns, from common sprains and fractures to more complex injuries. She brings a strong clinical foundation and a demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care to the practice.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Plymouth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and to care for patients in this community,” said Denby.  As a former athlete, Denby brings firsthand understanding of sports-related injuries and the importance of staying active.  “My goal is to help people get back to doing what they enjoy — whether that’s daily activities, work, or sports — by providing compassionate, individualized orthopedic care.”

Denby’s health care career spans several years and encompasses diverse experiences across multiple disciplines, including intensive care, pediatrics, and family medicine. Her early professional work has provided her with extensive hands-on experience in patient care, which became the foundation for her continued pursuit of advanced medical training.

Denby earned her master of physician assistant studies degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she was awarded the class spirit award by her fellow classmates for exemplifying the spirit and dedication of a physician assistant. She is board-certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
