Marion A. St. Jacques, 85

FRANKLIN — Marion A. St. Jacques, 85, of Sanborn Street, passed away on Aug. 1, 2026, at her residence.

Marion was born on April 4, 1941, in Franklin, to the late Elmer Channing Fifield and Edith Isabel (née Brett) Fifield.

Maron was a member of the VFW Post 1698, where she held every office over the years, last being treasurer over 30 years, volunteering on breakfast, suppers, children's Christmas parties, celebrations of life and more. Marion helped establish Lassie League with several others, so young girls could learn to play softball. Many knew her as Nana, from babysitting for years out of her home. She enjoyed sewing Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, and various other crafts, and teaching Sunday school at the Methodist Church in Tilton. She enjoyed reading, music, especially Elvis, bird watching, TV and movies, especially "Snow White," her favorites being the Witch and Dopey. She enjoyed time with all of her kids, especially trips to Santa’s Village.

Marion is survived by her two children, Kenneth (Laurie) St. Jacques and Michelle L. (Jeremy LeBlanc) St. Jacques-LeBlanc of Franklin; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Sawyer, Steven (Winni) St. Jacques, Storm (Bekah) St. Jacques, Devin St. Jacques, and Darcey St. Jacques; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Dorian, Kylie and James; brother Harry Fifield of Keene; sister-in-law Sue Fifield of Northfield; sister Rosalie M. Philbert of Franklin; and many nieces and nephews. Marion has three living stepchildren, Joseph, Robert and Jackie; and their children, her step-grandchildren Danielle, JB, Tina, Lisa, Doug and Robert; and their children, Austin and Brenden; step-great-grandchildren Andre, Sage, Anastasia, Dylan, Jaycob, Shawna, Cody, Arabella, Rebecca, Tori and Megan; step-great-great- grandchildren Maverick, Levi and Eva.

Along with her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband Benjamin St. Jacques; grandchild Stacey Collins; brother Wilbur Fifield; sisters Gertrude, Lena, Helen, Florence, Dawn, Ruth, Eva and Melba; and brother-in-law Robert Philbert.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.

A celebration of life at VFW Post 1698 will be announced at a later date, to be announced on Michelle’s Facebook (Michelle St Jacques-Leblanc) page.
