PLYMOUTH — Speare Memorial Hospital recently announced Dr. Jonathan Lamphier, a board-certified gastroenterologist with over 20 years of experience, is now offering gastroenterology services at Plymouth General Surgery.
Lamphier, who moved to the Plymouth area in 2009, is dedicated to providing high-quality GI care close to home. His expertise includes diagnosing and treating conditions such as acid reflux, swallowing disorders, ulcers, abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation/diarrhea, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and more. He also performs endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopies, esophageal dilation, and treatments for gastrointestinal bleeding.
“I am thankful and excited to have the opportunity to provide gastroenterology services to my community,” said Lamphier. “I believe in educating my patients so they fully understand their digestive health and treatment options. My goal is to ensure that every patient receives the same level of care I would provide to my own family.”
Lamphier earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship training in digestive diseases at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He has provided exceptional digestive health care to patients from Florida to New Hampshire.
