LACONIA — Hannah Watson, a Lake City resident and student at Lakes Region Community College, has produced a 14-minute video on the Colonial Theatre as part of her course work at the college. In addition to showing still photographs and newspaper clippings about the history of the theater and current views of the interior of the structure, she interviews Jared Guilmett of Miasiazek-Turpin PLLC, Architects about the restoration project, and Warren D. Huse, local historian, on other aspects of the theater's past.

Lakes Region Public Access Channel 25 will air the video, with simulcast on live streaming internet channel, livestream.com/lrpatv/channel25, on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 11:44 a.m. and on Saturday, Jan. 27, at both 6:30 and 6:44 a.m., and 6:30 and 6:44 p.m. Starting Wednesday, Jan. 31, through Tuesday, Feb. 6, the video will appear three times following each episode of the regularly scheduled Laconia Historical and Museum Society programs at 9 p.m., Wednesday; 4 a.m. and 1 p.m., Thursday; 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., Friday; 2 p.m. Saturday; and 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Tuesday. The video will also be programmed randomly on Channel 24, LRPA's education station.
