The Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia has announced it’s special services for the 2007 holiday season.

— Friday, December 21: Return of the Light - Winter Solstice service at 7 p.m. . A contemplative service to honor the longest night of the year and the return of the light.

— Sunday, December 23: Receiving the Light at 10 a.m., with Rev. Dena McPhetres, preaching.

— Monday, December 24: Christmas Eve Services / Family Service: “Instant Pageant” at 5:30 p.m.. Children are invited to participate as angels and shepherds to create a pageant of the traditional Christmas story. / Candlelight Service at 8:00 p.m. The choir will be joined by harpist Anne Bewley and flautist Ginny Barunas. Rev. Dena McPhetres will deliver a Christmas message.
