Jennifer Horn is keynote speaker at Women Inspiring Women meeting

When women are given tools and strategies to live their lives with limitless possibilities, amazing things happen. They realize they control their destiny, actions, attitudes and reactions leading to a life that is very rewarding. Women from throughout New Hampshire are invited to attend “No Limits . . . You Control Your Destiny and Life” sponsored by Women Inspiring Women to be held at the Common Man Restaurant in Concord on Thursday, May 14, 2009. Keynote speaker Jennifer Horn will inspire and motivate individuals to live their lives with purpose and passion. Jennifer is a lively, witty and well-informed columnist, radio talk show host and 2008 NH Republican nominee for Congress.

According to Leslie Sturgeon, president of the organization, the focus of the evening is to “let women know that they are in the driver’s seat of their life, that whatever they want to achieve, they can achieve.” The event begins with an optional networking period from 5:30 to 6:30, followed by a buffet dinner and program at 6:30. Women Inspiring Women was founded by Leslie Sturgeon in 2007 to give women of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to get together at fun and inspirational events on a monthly basis. Initially programs were held only in the Lakes Region but expanded to Concord with a kick-off celebration in October. Sturgeon stated, “I know the importance of surrounding yourself with other positive women – women who believe in your dreams and want to be supportive. We are definitely all on life’s journey together and it’s a great time to be a woman.”
