The Meredith Altrusa Community Service Committee got a jumpstart on Teacher Appreciation Week by packing and delivering individual thank you treats to all staff at Inter-Lakes Elementary School on April 21. Shown gratefully receiving over 115 baggies from Committee Members Patty Sumner and Judy Hodges are administration and staff at the school. The treats focused on nutritious snacks with oranges, chewy granola bars, and kisses of chocolate for each of those who teach and care for our local students. (Courtesy photo)Â
