The Gilford Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a trip to Charmingfare Farm in Candia on Monday, Feb. 25 to enjoy a winter carnival sleigh ride. The group will be meeting at the Gilford Community Church at 11 a.m. to car pool to the farm. Once there, it will enjoy a potluck lunch and hot cocoa by the fire while each group takes a sleigh ride in an upholstered carriage. Blankets will be provided. Crock-pot lunches and snacks are encouraged.
This program is open to “Senior Moment-um” participants as well as their family and friends. This event is subject to cancellation if the minimum of eight participants is not met. The cost of the event is based upon the number of participants, but will not be more than $15 per person. Interested participants must RSVP no later than Monday, February 18.
