SANBORNTON — This spooky season, step through the doors of history and into an evening where the past and the paranormal meet.
On Friday, Oct. 16, Breakthrough Medium Brandie Wells invites guests to the historic Lane Tavern at 520 Sanborn Road in Sanbornton for a unique Spirit Gallery and 1800s Spiritualism experience. Built in 1801, the beautifully preserved tavern provides an atmospheric setting for an evening inspired by the fascinating spiritualist movement of the 19th century.
The evening begins with an open-forum Spirit Gallery, where Brandie Wells will connect with angels, spirit guides, and loved ones in spirit, sharing messages of hope, healing, and validation with audience members.
Following a brief intermission featuring light autumn appetizers, guests will travel back in time to explore some of the traditional practices associated with 1800s Spiritualism. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own talking board and learn about pendulums and dowsing rods as historical tools used in attempts to communicate with the unseen.
Together, guests will explore the history and atmosphere of the Lane Tavern while experiencing these time-honored spiritual practices in a unique hands-on setting.
The event takes place Friday, Oct. 16, from 7 to 10 p.m.
Guests are asked to arrive having eaten dinner. Light autumn appetizers will be served during intermission. This is a sober event.
Tickets and more information are available at brandiewells.com.
