LACONIA — Taylor Community residents and staff made a big impact when they delivered donations to St. Vincent de Paul last week. They brought a Taylor Community bus filled with over 200 bags of food and other necessities, as well as monetary donations totaling $8,010! Maureen Ballester, administrative assistant at Taylor, has been coordinating the Taylor CARES holiday food drive for the past nine years. “I love this event because it is a true illustration of our collective “Taylor Heart” going out to the greater community, she said. “Our residents and staff continually amaze me at how generous they are with efforts such as this,” said Michael Flaherty, Taylor Community President and CEO. “Year after year they show how committed they are to making a difference in the greater Lakes Region and this year’s effort is really something special.”
