Margaret Cooper is the recipient of the 2025 Mary Rice Award. This award is presented annually to an individual who personifies outstanding voluntary service to the Friends of the Moultonborough Public Library, the staff and the library itself. Cooper has been a supporter of the library since 2013. As "the queen of hospitality" she constantly steps up to the plate with her pleasant and unassuming manner. She is always ready and willing to lend a hand, as well as superbly organizing others to help out. She's a marvel at creating a hospitable and festive atmosphere with delicious treats for all of our many library patrons, young and old.
