MEREDITH — Three hundred students from around New Hampshire displayed their creativity, collaboration, and challenge-solving skills at the New Hampshire Destination Imagination Regional Tournament at Inter-Lakes Regional High School in Meredith on Saturday, March 14.

Teams competed in challenges based on STEAM principles, including science, technology, engineering, the arts, math, and service entrepreneurship. Since the fall, teams have been working on solutions to these complex challenges, with all solutions required to be strictly team-solved.

Top-finishing teams in their challenge and age level advance to the state finals on April 11 in Bedford. Teams from the state final tournament will compete to qualify to represent New Hampshire at the Destination Imagination Global Finals, where they will compete with the top teams from 15 countries and nearly every state. More importantly, the teams are demonstrating the real-world skills they have developed as a team.
