WOLFEBORO — For the next two weekends, community members and neighbors will look different on the stage of the Village Players Theater.
Robby Sturtevant, a high school English teacher by day, may shock his students when he dons a headdress and sings the lead in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
Christian Boudman, by day a visual effects artist, brings blue suede shoes to his role as Pharaoh. Adoring fans will immediately know that Elvis has entered the theater.
Patients at her Concord medical practice will see nurse Kate Flower in a whole new light when she hits the unbelievable high notes of the Narrator.
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" opens Friday, Nov. 4, and continues on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays, Nov. 6 and 13, at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Blacks on Main St. and online at village-players.com. Theater goers are encouraged to buy tickets in advance as the show is expected to sell out.
The Village Players Theater is located at 51 Glendon St.
