LACONIA — The Irwin Automotive Group is a supporter of The Greater Lakes Region Children's Auctions annual event held every December in Central New Hampshire. In almost 40 years this fundraiser, with the help of countless volunteers and donors, has turned into a major campaign on an annual basis raising more than $7 million through volunteer efforts, community donations and corporate sponsorships.
Local companies like the Irwin Automotive Group in Laconia support the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction every year by providing cash donations and collection site for auction items. This allows the Irwin Automotive Group staff to serve the community and spread awareness to their customers about this charity.
The auction has over 700 hundred volunteers and collects thousands of donated auction items from the community. Items at the auction range from gift certificates to local businesses, sports collectibles, concert and sports tickets, autographed memorabilia, furniture, vacations, home décor, children's toys, electronics, and great holiday gifts.
