ALTON ― Residents of Alton and surrounding areas who are looking for a way to give back to their community are invited to an informational meeting for a new Lions Club on Thursday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at Sweet Caroline, at 28 Homestead Place in Alton.
The meeting will provide information about the Lions Club, one of the world’s largest service organizations, and how you can get involved. Membership is open to anyone who wants to make a difference, volunteer their time, and contribute to meaningful projects in the Alton area. No extensive time commitment is required ― just a desire to help and have fun while doing it.
Whether you’re interested in local community service, supporting charitable initiatives, or connecting with others who care about making a positive impact, the Alton Lions Club offers a welcoming environment to get involved.
Come learn more about what it means to “be a Lion” and how you can help improve your community.
