MOULTONBOROUGH — Laughter and spooky family fun returns with Genevaween on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Geneva Point Center on Moultonborough Neck Road. Admission is free and costumes are optional.
This is the event's second year and “people have been asking me about it since May. I guess that tells you how much they are looking forward to it,” said Chris Randall, director of operations at Geneva Point Center. “This year it’s going to be even more fun thanks to our lead sponsors NH Broad Band, Electrical Installations LLC, and WUMB Radio/Acoustic Music camp, and 12 other sponsors.”
The upper part of Geneva Point Center’s campus is being transformed for the event.
“This year we’re adding a haunted house that will be fun, but not terrifying,” said Randall. “More of our cabins are being transformed into trick or treat stations, with the first 150 people to arrive getting free “spooky buckets” to collect treats in.”
The Wicked Witches of the Lakes Region are back and will be performing at 4 p.m. The event will also features two themed photo booths and creative Halloween-themed cookie decorating stations set up in the meeting house. Geneva Point Center’s Scoop Shop will also be open selling hot cider and treats.
