LACONIA — City Manager Kirk Beattie has announced the process that will be used to fill the City Council vacancy in Ward 5 created upon the recent resignation of City Councilor Steven Bogert. Applicants must be a registered voter in the city and a resident of Ward 5. The term expires on Jan. 1, 2028. Application forms can be picked up in the City Manager’s Office in City Hall, 45 Beacon St. East, provided to interested applicants by calling 603-527-1270 or by sending an email to Nbrown@laconianh.gov. Applications are also available online at laconianh.gov.
Completed application forms are due at the City Manager’s Office by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6. Applicants will be interviewed at the City Council’s Aug. 10, regular meeting. Contact the City Manager’s Office at 603-527-1270 with questions or for additional information.
