MOULTONBOROUGH — Although Lucknow Mansion will be closed until Memorial Day weekend, Castle in the Clouds still has programming on its grounds and at the Carriage House throughout the winter.

Winter hikes have already started, and will continue through April, every other Saturday. These hikes are volunteer-led and guests can choose from various hikes in the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area, including the popular Brook Walk and Mt. Roberts Trails. Hikes start at either 10:30 or 11 a.m. depending on the date. Check the Castle in the Clouds website for more information.

In addition, for those who enjoy spending time outdoors, the third Annual Winter Fest will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun event includes sledding (snow permitting), winter tracking, and hot cocoa and crafts at the Carriage House.

On Sunday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., guests can join Bewitched Acres for a Candle Making Workshop. Participants will make rolled and dipped beeswax candles to take home, all while learning about the candle-making process and bees from beekeeper Samantha Stevens.

Starting in March, Castle in the Clouds will be offering Winter Yoga with Pam Swanick from Yoga4Life every other Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon in the Winnipesaukee Room of the Carriage House. Winter Yoga runs throughout March and April.
