WOLFEBORO — Wolfeboro Friends of Music will host Buffalo Rome on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. at Brewster Academy.
Nicknamed “the Crosby, Stills, and Nashville of the digital age” Buffalo Rome blends the earthy feel reminiscent of the 1970s west coast country rock scene with today’s modern country bringing a vinyl vibe to the digital age.
In “The Music of Laurel Canyon,” Buffalo Rome celebrates one of the most sacred musical places of the '60s and early '70s. Laurel Canyon sits just above the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood and became a nest of creativity — immortalizing artists like Joni Mitchell, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and The Mamas and the Papas, who called the neighborhood home. Buffalo Rome presents an anthology concert of greatest hits in their unique Nashville style.
This is the first of nine concert performances comprising the current WFOM season running through June — 90 years of artistic excellence in service to NH’s Lakes Region, Mount Washington Valley and beyond.
