LACONIA — Develop basic sewing skills while creating a tied quilt, throw size  40-by-50-inch, at Laconia Middle School, 150 McGrath St.

Classes will be held on Saturdays, Jan. 28, Feb. 4, 11 and 18, and March 4 and 11.

Youth (ages 10-16): 9-11 a.m. and adults (ages 17 and up): noon to 2 p.m.

For youth class, a responsible adult is required to attend the first class.

Maximum class sizes: 

• 12 youth students ages 10-16

• 18 adults ages 17-plus

• Attendance is limited to those who have not participated in a previous workshop series.
