SANBORNTON — Over the past five years, Sanbornton Congregational Church UCC has been upgrading its pipe organ. In order to share the joy, the church is hosting a fun and joy-filled Christmas carol sing-along at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17.Â
Carols and secular Christmas songs will be sung, including an interactive “Twelve Days of Christmas." The newest addition to the organ, the zimbelstern (bells), will put a smile on everyone's faces.
Laura Belanger is the organist at the church and a composer. She is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and holds choirmaster and professional organist certificates from the American Guild of Organists. She has held multiple officer and board positions with AGO chapters throughout New England. Belanger is also the collaborative pianist for the Pemigewasset Choral Society.
Sanbornton Congregational Church UCC is at 22 Meeting House Hill Road.Â
