MEREDITH — Meredith Village Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Tate Miller to assistant vice president, commercial loan officer. Based in the bank's Laconia office, Miller works closely with local businesses and nonprofit organizations to support their commercial financing needs.

"Tate has established himself as a trusted resource for businesses throughout the Lakes Region and consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to both his customers and our communities," said Bob Davis, senior vice president, commercial lending team leader. "His growth as a lender, dedication to relationship-based banking, and leadership within the community have made a meaningful impact on MVSB and the customers we serve. This promotion is a well-deserved recognition of his contributions and continued success."

"I am grateful for the opportunities MVSB has provided throughout my career and honored to take on this new role," Miller said. "Community banking has given me the chance to work alongside local businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations that help make this region such a special place to live and work. I look forward to continuing to build those relationships and supporting the success of our communities."

Miller joined MVSB in 2022 as a commercial lending apprentice, where he worked alongside members of the bank's commercial lending team to develop expertise in credit analysis, commercial lending, and relationship management. He was promoted to commercial loan officer in 2024 and has since helped local businesses and organizations navigate their financing needs.

Beyond his role at MVSB, Miller is actively involved in the community. He currently serves as chair of the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of directors and finance committee for Lakes Region Community Developers. He is also a member of the Grants Committee for the Greater Lakes Region Children's Fund and is a graduate of the Leadership Lakes Region Class of 2026. Tate earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Plymouth State University.
