WOLFEBORO — The New Hampshire Small Business Development Center, partnering with Wentworth Economic Development Corporation, Inc., is offering free business advising services twice a month to aspiring and active business owners in Wolfeboro and surrounding communities.
Appointments will be available on the first and third Thursdays of the month between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning in July. The sessions with business advisor David Boynton of the Seacoast Region will take place at the economic development corporation's office, located at 15 Varney Road, adjacent to the People’s United Bank building in Wolfeboro.Â
Boynton is a co-founder of 7th Settlement Brewery, LLC in Dover. His entrepreneurial experience in leading a team of more than 45 employees in a craft brewery and farm-to-table restaurant gives him current, real-life expertise to bring to his business clients. As the former director at Seacoast Local and a founding board member of Dover Listens, Boynton has helped several other entrepreneurs start and succeed and he is a current lecturer for the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.
Boynton earned a master's degree in Business Administration in Organizational and Environmental Sustainability from Antioch New England, with a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology: Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire.
Boynton will meet one-on-one with clients and provide counseling on business planning, financial analysis, marketing, accounting, cash flow projections and new business/acquisition feasibility and evaluation. Specialized counseling is also available in environmental issues, access to capital, manufacturing, and the food service industry.
The Small Business Development Center offers a variety of 40 free online small business courses at www.nhsbdc.org.Â
