MEREDITH — Caroline Rockafellow has joined the board of directors for The Greater Meredith Program. Rockafellow brings a wealth of experience in law, community engagement, and economic development, along with a passion for strengthening local initiatives and fostering growth.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law, Rockafellow has had a distinguished career spanning nearly 30 years as a practicing attorney. Her most recent position was as associate general counsel, M&A and venture capital for Syngenta, a multi-national corporation. Currently, she serves as the director of career services at her alma mater in Concord.

Rockafellow has served as chairman of the board of directors for Research Triangle High School, founding director of the North Carolina Innovation Foundation, and founding director of the Research Triangle Park Licensing Executives Society. Additionally, she has held leadership roles in organizations such as the North Carolina Technology Association and the Licensing Executives Society.

In addition to her professional and volunteer work, Rockafellow is an active member of the GMP Economic Development Committee and the Career Partnerships Subcommittee. She is also leading a newly launched GMP Volunteer Task Force, which will focus on recruiting, engaging, and recognizing volunteers to support the organization’s expanding community initiatives.
