Margaret "Bunny" Jane (Weeks) Stillings, 80, of Meredith, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Dec. 14, 2025.
Bunny was born Sept. 21, 1945, at Laconia Hospital. She attended school at Humiston School and Inter-Lakes School in Meredith. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Golden View, and as a home health aide. Bunny had a passion for working with people and improving their lives with her loving way and delightful presence.
Bunny was quick-witted and a free spirit with an incredible uncanny sense of humor. She loved to sing, particularly Patsy Cline, sharing her beautiful gift of song. She loved to dance, bowl and laugh. She had a passion for horses from a very young age and had that same calm, yet wild spirit, which connected them. She loved to visit with her family and friends, always spreading love, kindness and humor. Bunny loved taking long scenic country drives and fishing alongside her husband and children. Bunny was a loyal faithful servant of God with the Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was loved and well respected by her brothers and sisters that she worshiped alongside. She will surely be missed within her congregation.
Bunny is predeceased by her loving husband, Leroy C. Stillings; her father, Sylvester "Sunny" Weeks, and mother, Anna Mae (Jenness) Weeks; her brother, Thomas Weeks; and sister Pamela Weeks.
Bunny is survived by sons Neil "Chippa" MacDonald Jr. and his significant other Karen Casazza, Thomas MacDonald and his wife Barb, and Cory Stillings. Her stepchildren include Dean Stillings, Charles Stillings and significant other Paula, Bambi Giles and husband David, Dawn Travers and husband Tom. To Bunny's family. I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds like Bunny brought a lot of love and happiness to all those around her. I lived on Philbrook Avenue when we were little girls and we were good friends. Carolyn (Haddock) Conte
