DANBURY — Demirra Jade Roy, 2, of Danbury, passed away on Jan. 1, surrounded by the love of her family.

Mira was best known for going down the slide at the playgrounds repeatedly yelling "again again" in excitement. Or for her love of ketchup which she ate by the spoonfuls. We could also expect demands to "buckle up" in the car followed by her singing favorites from "Cocomelon" or "Bluey."

Mira is survived by her loving parents, Destiny Blackman and Justin Kang, her sisters and brother, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and many other loving relatives.

Calling hours will be held at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 204 Daniel Webster Hwy, Meredith, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 10, with a prayer service from 2:30 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home. A burial will take place in the spring.

Everyone is encouraged to bring any new stuffed animals to place near Mira's casket that will be donated to loving homes.

Arrangements are under the care of Mayhew Funeral Homes and Crematorium. To sign the online book of memories, visit mayhewfuneralhomes.com.
