LACONIA — The 9th Annual Lakes Region Interfaith National Day of Prayer Breakfast is Thursday, May 4, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at St. Andre Bessette Parish Hall, 31 Gilford Ave., Laconia.

This year’s theme is faith, forgiveness and restoration with keynote speaker Rev. Scott Jamieson, pastor, Church of Another Chance. Program topic: "Transformed By Faith."

Program schedule: 7:30 a.m. — buffet breakfast begins at 8:15 a.m. Program commences 9:30 a.m. — program concludes.

Proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Church of Another Chance to help support the members return to wholeness.

In November 2019 Guest Speaker Rev. Scott Jamieson and his wife, Linda, moved to the Lakes Region from Honduras and now live in Meredith. He is the part-time chaplain at the Belknap County jail and pastor at the Church of Another Chance.
