TILTON — Praise Assembly of God in Tilton will host Evangelist Glenn Meldrum on Friday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday night a large tent will be set up for an outside revival service. Before the service, hot dogs, chips, drinks and desserts will be served.

Meldrum is an evangelist, pastor and revivalist who found his faith in the early ‘70s during the national Jesus Revolution. In a park where he’d partied and dealt drugs, Meldrum had a Biblical conversation and found a church that was reaping in thousands of young people out of the drug culture. He met and married his wife Jessica before starting an outreach on the streets of Detroit, Michigan. In a short time the outreach became a church, which they pastored for 12 years. He resigned from this church to earn a master’s degree in theology and church history, and pastored two other churches. In 1997, the duo started an evangelistic ministry.

Meldrum produces a weekly podcast called “The Radical Truth,” available through all major podcast platforms or listen directly from the resource page on his website. He’s also written three books: “The Radical Jesus,” “Rend the Heavens,” and “Rescue Me” are available through their website or Amazon.
