To The Daily Sun,
I’m writing to support Lois Kessin for New Hampshire state representative.
Lois was one of the first people I met when I moved to Laconia four years ago. As I’ve gotten to know her, I’ve seen firsthand how much she loves Laconia, the city where she grew up, and how deeply she cares about the people who call it home.
Her parents instilled in Lois from an early age the importance of being involved in her community and giving back. That commitment to civic involvement has stayed with her and shows in how she approaches the issues facing our state.
Lois’s priorities include making New Hampshire more affordable, supporting restorative justice, and protecting our environment. What stands out most is her genuine connection to this community and her willingness to listen, learn, and show up. These qualities matter in any elected official, and I know Lois will keep the conversations she has with the people of Laconia close to her heart, take their concerns to Concord, and stand up for Laconia and residents across New Hampshire.
I believe Laconia and New Hampshire would be well served by having Lois Kessin represent us in Concord.
I hope readers will join me in supporting Lois Kessin, Marcia Hayward, Denise Riley, and Eric Hoffman on Nov. 3. Now is the time to make voices heard and be part of the change voters want to see in our community and our state.
