Tom Ploszaj: Supporting Scott Wallace for next Meredith representative

On Sept. 8, Meredith residents can vote Scott Wallace for representative.

Scott will represent Meredith residents and Belknap County with experience and distinction. Scott’s eight years of superior attendance and effectiveness as a representative in Concord, six years as Rockingham’s chairman of the jail, and two years as chairman of the sheriff’s office. Both agencies received national recognition for excellence under his management.

Rep. Wallace took time to visit the southern border in Yuma, Arizona and our Canadian border to ensure data was factual. Rep. Wallace never co-sponsored or voted for a bill to increase property taxes, or any tax for that matter. Not all Belknap County candidate’s voting records can claim that.

New Hampton and Center Harbor residents, it was an honor representing the district. I humbly ask again for their support and vote to continue my 2020-26 pledge to represent our district, putting their issues and concerns first. During 2026, I maintained my promise to represent our district, not a political party's or personal agenda's as an undeclared representative and not be involved in the political rhetoric and the discontent we had witnessed.

I thank all who corresponded about issues, assistance, instructions and to those who accepted my email request to “ ... encourage our neighbors to become actively involved as early as possible ...," so that together we can work for the best legislation possible.
