To The Daily Sun,
A small group of residents boarded the Peabody bus for the trip to JJ’s Woodfired Tavern in Franklin.
Rick, an alternate and very capable driver assisted by program director Carolyn McCalley, drove us to JJ’s for delicious pizza and friendly conversation. We all took “doggie boxes” with leftover pizza to share or snack on later.
A trip outside is not always possible for some residents. There are speakers, movies, and other programs available. Recently a concert pianist and his daughter gave Peabody residents a delightful and entertaining performance.
There is always something to do in Peabody.
