To The Daily Sun,

Bias and prejudice are everywhere. Babies are born free of it. Young children are honest. They have not learned to lie yet. Are parents responsible? Yes, to some degree. School, where education begins, are teachers responsible? Yes. Children, at a very young age, can and do perceive different treatment for different children, for various reasons. The breeding ground for bias and prejudice has been laid and never stops. From kindergarten through college and beyond. The worldwide demonstrations resulting from the Israeli and Palestinian war prove bias and prejudice is alive and well, joined by harassment and bullying along the road of living life and learning. Bias, prejudice, harassment and bullying never stops, even in elderly housing.
