To The Daily Sun,
What says “Scouting” more than parades, flag ceremonies, tying knots, and bad weather while camping?
Pinewood Derby cars and popcorn, of course.
Meredith Scout Pack 55 and Scout Troop 55 wish to thank Aubuchon’s Hardware of Meredith for their very generous donation of Pinewood Derby car kits, accessories, tools and decals. Rich, Heidi and Cheyenne did their “Good Turn” amassing a large collection of parts and pieces that will help the Scouts build creative and super-fast race cars.
We also wish to thank Vinny Hale of The Galleries at 30 Main, Meredith, for his donation of a commercial popcorn popping machine. The popcorn popper will be a great help during a variety of Scouting activities and will bring lots of fun and happiness.
The Scouts also wish to thank the Friends of the Meredith Library for their ongoing help and support.
We further wish to thank the First Congregational Church of Meredith for their many years of ongoing sponsorship of the Pack and Troop.
From the scoutmaster of Troop 55, Scout Pack 55 and Troop 55 are both very grateful to all those community members who support us throughout the year.
