Sheri Minor: Moderate Republican running for Laconia District 5

To The Daily Sun,

My name is Sheri Minor I am running for state representative, Laconia District 5. I would say I am certainly a moderate Republican that believes in family, community and certainly the Constitution. I have lived in Belknap County my whole life I have raised my kids here and taken in some bonus kids along the way. I have instilled working for what you have and always giving a hand up when needed, I have always volunteered and mentored in this community as well. I worked in many different jobs so have been able to wear many hats. One thing I have learned is to talk to people and listen, trying to come up with idea to make a plan to help make things better for them. Working for our county, I realize the importance of keeping our good qualified employees, knowing that not having to continuously rehire due to losing them to better paying jobs makes the burden a lot less on taxpayers. I never judge anyone on their political title or affiliation. As far as politics, I can 100% say I am clueless on how this works but eager to listen and learn with all sides and am fully committed to doing my civic duty and going to work for you. I am self-employed running a local business and feel I can really put the time in for you all.
