My name is Robert Binda and I am running for Gilford Budget Committee.
I am a current member of the Gilford Zoning Board of Adjustment, current member of the Gilford Capital Improvement Committee and a former member of the Gilford Community Power Committee. I am a retired business owner with over 40 years running multiple stores.
I am running because we are having difficult times. With the federal and state governments sending less money to local cities and towns and asking us to do more at the local level, it is very important to balance wants and needs. If elected I will do my best to make sure every dollar is put to the best use. We must not only plan and budget for today, we must also plan for the future.
Gilford is a great town to live in. I am asking for readers' vote on March 10.Â
