To The Daily Sun,
As a longtime central New Hampshire resident, I care deeply about our region and understand how important it is for us to elect the best people to lead us. And as a state representative who chairs the House Committee on State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs, I especially appreciate colleagues who understand government and know the people and process necessary to get things done. I'm proud to have co-sponsored significant legislation with Senator Tim Lang, to include measures that support our people in uniform. And I especially appreciate Tim taking the time to visit the folks at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, even though it's not in his district. Tim is widely seen as a hard-working, rising star at the Statehouse, who enjoys the bipartisan confidence of leaders from both sides of the aisle, from the governor on down. Often, during discussions on policies or legislation, the question comes up: "What does Sen. Lang think?" And Tim is perhaps the most forthcoming and transparent senator in Concord, unafraid to fully engage folks on social media or anywhere else.
Hopefully voters in State Senate District 2 will vote for Sen. Lang on Nov. 3, not just for the sake of the Lakes Region but for the sake of our entire Granite State.
Rep. Mike Moffett
