To The Daily Sun,

Laconia is a city with heart, grit and untapped potential. But for too long, we’ve been stuck in a cycle of complacency where the same people make the same decisions with the same results. The status quo isn’t just stale it’s actively holding us back.

We can see it in the slow speed of reaction to community problems, and resistance to new concepts. Too many choices are being made behind closed doors, and citizens find themselves wondering who is actually being heard. That's not leadership it's just dragging tires in the mud. And it's shortening our time, our faith, and our opportunities to resolve pressing issues.

I'm running for mayor because I believe Laconia can be better. Laconia needs a leader who's ready to challenge the status quo and honest enough to welcome scrutiny. I won't tolerate secretive answers or behind the scenes deals. I'll work for an open, responsive, and accountable city government for the people it serves.

This is not a political campaign, it's one about people. About building a city where citizens are heard, seen, and respected. Where transparency is not a slogan but a creed. And where leadership means showing up, telling it like it is, and getting the job done.

Laconia can no longer settle for more of the same. It's time to turn the page and build a future founded on trust, action and common purpose. I'm ready to lead that change and I invite readers to join me by voting in the Primary Sept. 9.
