To The Daily Sun,

This letter to the editor will be brief and to the point. In fact, I'll use a bulleted format:

 • I work hard in Concord for my constituents. In my entire first term in office, I missed just one vote (an excused absence).

• To uphold my oath of office, I must weigh the constitutionality of every vote. For that, the HRA has given me a 100% rating.

 • Specifically on the Second Amendment: The NRA has given me an "A" rating. That's the highest rating a candidate can receive.

 • I answer every phone call and every email. I am available at Town Hall every Monday, 3:30-4:30 p.m. I don't think that has ever happened in the history of Campton.

 • I have gained notice as an effective representative. It's uncommon for a freshman rep to be made a subcommittee chair or to head a House delegation in a Committee of Conference.  I have.

It comes back to the first point: I work hard for Campton. You can see it in the way I campaign. Voters should have an opportunity to meet their rep and form a first-hand opinion.  In 2020, I visited the homes of over 1,300 Campton voters. I have surpassed 1,500 in 2022. This is not a small thing; it's a sign of respect. I am asking for your vote on Nov. 8 — it's up to me to earn it.  I hope that I have.

Rep. Mark Alliegro

Campton
