To The Daily Sun,

A recent letter praising candidate Marc Bourassa's experience over Steve Coffill is misleading. I believe Steve Coffill truly is qualified to represent Bristol and Bridgewater come Nov. 3.

That letter stated Marc has experience by being on the Bristol Budget Committee, which is true, but did residents know he was only elected in March 2026? Did they also know Marc first registered to vote in Bristol in November of 2024? Marc has no New Hampshire roots and very little experience.

New Hampshire is proud to have a citizen legislature, made up of people like us and Steve Coffill, who brings New Hampshire experiences to Concord. New Hampshire can’t afford Bourassa’s Massachusetts experience; his perspectives risk changing our state in all the wrong ways and "Mass" it up.

Steve Coffill may not be as polished as Marc, but do voters want a real New Hampshire person who has hard earned experiences by living and working here 49 years to represent taxpayers? Or Marc coming from Massachusetts and raising over $8,000 for a legislative seat? Is Marc trying to buy the election?

Steve Coffill is the real deal. He does his research, listens to people, and values their experiences. Steve will represent us in Concord like we’d expect. While Marc may be a nice guy, he will likely vote the opposite and we could end up with a sales, income and other taxes along with bad policies for the people of Bristol and Bridgewater.

Steve Coffill stands for conservative principles, limited government, and family values.

Want a winning hand? Vote the Republican ticket up and down the ballot. Vote in person on Nov. 3 or vote by absentee ballot if going to be out of town that day.

I fully support Steve Coffill for state representative.

Rep. John Sellers
