To The Daily Sun,

I had the pleasure of joining Gov. Kelly Ayotte around Laconia on the day she filed for re-election. Having the governor choose Laconia for her first campaign stops of 2026 shows how much she values our community. Gov. Ayotte, Sheriff Bill Wright, and I met with local businesses, community members, and the Laconia Police Department to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the Lakes Region. Gov. Ayotte is continuing the tradition of elected officials being accountable and accessible to the people they serve.

Maintaining an affordable community with low taxes and safe streets is what makes this area so special. I’m grateful to have such a strong ally in Gov. Ayotte, and I hope readers will join me in supporting Gov. Ayotte for reelection this November.
