Peter Kirk: Trump is attempting to fulfill his promises to the American people

President Donald Trump has been in office about 45 days as I write this. He has been active attempting to fulfill his promises to the American people. His successes will be determined over time but at least he is governing, not sitting back and allowing the vast bureaucracy to overspend and set policies which the people do not want nor would they vote for. He has also spoken to the press and the public numerous times so his agenda is understood.

What has the other side of the aisle (Democrats) been up to? Have they offered alternatives? No. Have they tried to compromise? No. Have they participated in governing? No.

The best they can come up with is childish confrontations unworthy of representatives of the American people. Singing protest songs? Staging entry to buildings they can't enter? Holding signs that seem to have been written in their back yard during speeches? Interrupting said speech by yelling insults? Trying to foment a resistance inside government bodies? These are not the actions of a party with any idea how to lead. If readers voted for these mostly bozos, maybe they should rethink who they put their faith in.
