To The Daily Sun,

Some political rhetoric is getting very troubling in New Hampshire. Recently, some folks proposed a tax plan they contend could reduce property taxes for most NH taxpayers and be a fairer way to fund public education. Worth at least listening to, right? But what did they get for their trouble? Possible death threats on social media. What have we become if it is not possible to propose an idea without being threatened with violence? Threats of violence have no place in our democracy or society, political or otherwise.
