Marc Abear: Is Kamala Harris complicit in coverup in Hunter Biden case?

ABC News reports Hunter Biden accepted $3M in cash from a Romanian oligarch who was looking to influence U.S. policies while Hunter’s father, Joe, was vice president. ABC is not a right wing media outlet. Special Counsel David Weiss made that allegation earlier this month in a filing that is part of the tax case against Hunter.

Prosecutors further allege Hunter and his business partners were deeply concerned the work might go public and affect Joe Biden. So, the deal was structured in a way that concealed the true nature of the lobbying. This would seem to be an issue the Democrats will have to answer questions about this fall.

The questions will be: What did Joe Biden know? What did Kamala Harris know? And what did other Democrats know about this possible case of official corruption? How is this different from the Menendez case? This has been available information for years. These are bright articulate people, right? What should they have known?

We know the Bidens had a family business. We know they were all part of the enterprise. We’ve seen the money trail. There is money from all over the world. There was concern for Hunter’s addiction. Hunter was moved into the White House. Ms. Harris had to have some level of exposure to Mr. Biden and his family’s corrupt ways. She was vice president for four years.

And then there are the veterans groups who are outraged by allegations the Democrat VP pick, Mr. Tim Walz, and his lying about his military service. Sure, the Harris-Walz campaign denies all allegations. It calls them unfounded smears. Is there a pattern developing?
