Louise Rosand: Where will government employees who are being let go work now?

Can anyone tell me where all the government employees (thousands, millions?), that are being let go, are going to work now? Since only 140,000 to 145,000 jobs were created last month (or quarter?). It would take 10 months at 100,000 jobs per month or 10 quarters (2.5 years) to get everyone a job. Most of these people, who have families to support, debts to pay, mortgages to pay, groceries to buy, will probably be heading to their local unemployment office. In other words, they are just like readers. Now readers say "that's OK" the money is in the state's budget. And where does the state budget money come from? It comes from the towns/cities (plus other taxes/funds) and where do the towns/cities get their money? From taxpayers. They will be paying for their unemployment, maybe not right now, but eventually. Many know how it feels to lose a job and have to go on unemployment, which was a big stigma on their reputation if they are from an older generation. Don't laugh, it's not funny.

Now I agree that there was and is some waste in the government, that's always been the joke, since long before some of us were born. I'm not questioning that. I'm concerned about the way it is being done — by a supposed genius (and his young computer specialists) who don't care who is in their way with the permission of our president. Does this scare anyone else? I hope so.

And something else: we are not "America" — we are the "United States of America". America is a land mass or continent, made up of North America, Central America and South America containing many other countries besides us. At least that is what I was taught when I went to public school.
