To The Daily Sun,

Middle-class taxpayers are being forced to subsidize private-school tuition for wealthy families — and then pay again when public schools must serve voucher students without reimbursement, and Rep. John MacDonald and Sen. Mark McConkey are responsible for that.

Both MacDonald and McConkey voted for Senate Bill 295, which lets the wealthiest families use and abuse taxpayer money to educate their kids in private-school. Then another assault on the middle class families quality of learning, McConkey also voted for HB 1817. That bill requires public schools to provide those wealthy voucher kids into already overcrowded classes, take classroom resources, and allows them to play sports without reimbursing school districts for one penny of the costs.

I never voted to give those handouts, did readers? MacDonald and McConkey's voting record shows contempt for working families and their children who depend on public education.

On Nov. 3, vote them out.
